Welcome Quilters & Friends
Welcome to Amoskeag Quilters Guild! We are happy you are here!
We are a quilt guild located in southern New Hampshire. Take a look at what we are doing, and we'd love to see you at a meeting!
November 21st Meeting
Bring one, some or a few things to show off at the FASHION SHOW! How fun this will be! Quilted jackets, scarfs, bags, shirts, patchwork pants. Whatever you've made, we want you to strut your stuff showing it off! There will be music for the runway so be ready!
We love seeing all the creativity of our members so bring any quilts to show for Show-N-Tell.
Information has been shared about upcoming workshops and 2025 Winter Retreat, check your inboxes!
Kidneys for Kindness was voted as the charity we will be supporting with our Raffle Quilt for the next two years! Group sewing days to work on the raffle quilt will be announced soon.
For those of you completing the Mystery Quilt, how are you progressing so far? Up to date with the instructions and ready for the next part?
The fabric kits for this year's Challenge Quilt will be available to pick up at the Challenge Table. Please make sure to grab your kit! Reveals will be in February!
Theme of the Fabric Swap is Red and/or Green! Please drop off your fat quarter in the Fellowship Hall before the meeting!
Block of the Month patterns have been in the newsletters, but for each block you make and bring to the meeting, you receive a chance to win all the blocks brought in that month! This month features another disappearing pinwheel block with fall themed fabric.
The Library will be open during the break! Please remember to return any books that are due! (Books you signed out at in or before September)
A Quilted Gift - We will set up our tables at the November meeting and have plenty to offer all of you. We are hoping to get through our White Bags and encourage all of you to take one or two. Since nothing will be turned in at the December meeting you will have 2 months to complete a bag which only requires several hours of piecing.
Bring in 1-7 carefully cut Brown 2 1/2" strips for a raffle ticket! (One raffle ticket per 2 1/2" strip)
Would you be interested in an Applique class? Stop by the program desk and let the program volunteers know which kind of applique you'd like to see offered!
Please remember your Checkbook or Cash (please plan for exact amounts for each thing you are signing up for),
and your Nametag (raffle ticket for remembering it AND wearing it)!
