Welcome Quilters & Friends
Welcome to Amoskeag Quilters Guild! We are happy you are here!
We are a quilt guild located in southern New Hampshire. Take a look at what we are doing, and we'd love to see you at a meeting!
January 16th Meeting
Come dressed in your Beach Attire! There will be prizes for the best dressed!
The Ugly Fabric Challenge will be presented, and we will vote for the Favorite Ugly Challenge Winners!
Anabelle Delgado will be presenting about her shop and story at this meeting. She has a neat little store in Methuen, MA called My Handmade Space. She will share her remarkable story about being a scientist, then a software engineer only to give it all up to start a successful bag making shop. This magical shop is the venture accomplished from Anabelle doing what all of us dream of doing: building a financially successful investment in ourselves and our hobbies and interests. Making her hobby a financial dream come true is so admirable. Also, her store is amazing, and magical and everything you could dream of in a bag material source store. You’ll even love the sewing space.
How is your Challenge Quilt coming along? Reveals will be at the next meeting!
Don't forget to sign up for our upcoming workshops - the next one is on February 22nd with Linda Banner and will focus on applique.
Kidneys for Kindness was voted as the charity we will be supporting with our Raffle Quilt for the next two years! A group sewing day to work on the raffle quilt will be held January 19th at Patches Quilt Loft and Embroidery, please check your email for more information!
